Council approves $424,021 in payroll and bills

PA NANTICOKE — Nanticoke City Council unanimously approves $424,021 in city payroll and accounts payable. The allocation includes $141,785.43 for payrolls and $282,236.50 for accounts payable. City Manager Donna Wall reported that demolition at 279-281 East Church Street is proceeding as the contractor awaits utility company letters.
A resident also raised concerns during public comment about sidewalk subsidence at a St. Faustina Church property, which Wall committed to investigate.
